வசூலை அள்ளிய நண்பன்(BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE OF THE YEAR)

விஜய் நடிப்பில் வெளிவந்த படம் நண்பன். இப்படம் இவ்வருடத்தின் எதிர்பார்புக்களுக்குரிய படங்களில் முதலாவதாக இருந்தது. படம் வெளியாகி முன்று நாட்களில் அதிகளவு வசூலை குவித்துள்ளது. இதுவரை 40 கோடிக்கு மேல் வசூல் எடுத்துள்ளது. இன்று பொங்கல் தினம் அதனையை ஒட்டி விடுமுறைகள் வருவதால் இப்படத்தின் இரண்டாவது வார வசூலும் அதிகமாக இருக்கும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. இப்படம் தமிழகம் முழுவதும் 450க்கு மேற்பட்ட திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகியது. இதில் சென்னையில் 27  திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகியது.
இப்படம் பற்றி நல்ல விமரசங்கள் வெளிவந்துள்ளதால் இப்படத்தின் வசூல் மேலும் எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. இப்படத்தின் முதலாவது வார இறுதியி 50 கோடியை தாண்டும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. இப்படதுக்குரிய முதல் வார டிக்கெட் விற்று தீர்ந்து விட்டது. இப்படத்துக்கு ரிபிட் பார்வையாளர்கள் வருவதனால் இரண்டாவது வாரமும் நல்ல வசூல் எடுக்கும் என்பது உறுதியாகியுள்ளது. குடும்பம் குடும்பமாகவும் படம் பார்க்க ரசிகர்கள் வந்த வண்ணம் உள்ளனர். இதுவும் படத்துக்கு பெரிய வெற்றியாகும்.

Vadivelu out of Simbudevan’s 'Maareesan'?

When it pours, it pours in torrents: this appears to fit the case of ace comedian Vadivelu the best.  The travails and struggles that Vadivelu h as been facing for the past 10 months appear to be far from over.  Ever since the change of guard in the State, the comedian had been ‘ignored’ and ‘neglected’ by almost all the film-makers in Kollywood who think signing him up might send ‘wrong signals’ to the powers-that-be in the State.

From an unassailable ‘No.1’ position, Vadivelu now finds himself in an unenviable position wherein nobody seems to be willing to sing him up to star his/her movies.  Unfortunately for him, Mambattiyan, which was the only film which released recently, didn’t scorch the box-office. Vadivelu now finds himself back in square ‘A’; rather, he finds himself at the same spot where he started more than two decades ago.
